Job Summary :
We are seeking a talented PHP/Laravel Developer specialized in developing web applications to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using Laravel framework. You will be working closely with our team to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.

Job skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a PHP Laravel Developer 
Strong understanding of PHP, Laravel framework and MVC design patterns
Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Javascript 
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and web services
Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills

Prefered skills:
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Understanding of Agile development methodologies
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure 

Essential Duties:
Develop, implement and maintain PHP Laravel web applications
Update legacy laravel framework to current release
Update code from php 7.x to 8.x
Troubleshoot and debug existing applications to ensure optimal performance
Write clean, efficient and well documented code
Collaborate with cross functional team to define, design and ship new features

NOTICE: If you are hired as vendor staff who will have access to state systems or data or as a contractor for one of the state executive branch consolidated agencies, in adherence to Colorado Revised Statute § 24-37.5-401, 403, 404, 405, and 406, and Colorado Information Security Policy (CISP) 002, you will be required to self-register and complete information security training, including but not limited to review and acknowledgement of the Acceptable Use of State Data and IT Resource Policy (AUP) (CISP-018), through the consolidated agency contractor information security training site within 30 days of your contract start date and annually thereafter. Should you be awarded this contract, the state agency will provide the contractor information security training site information to you.
