Job Description:
This position will provide day to day oversight and internal fiscal management of the State Opioid Response (SOR) grant. The job responsibilities include daily fiscal tracking and reporting (within the state’s financial system as needed), serving as a grant-fiscal subject matter expert, and coordinating with grant leadership, the program implementation team, department-level grant management, and department-level fiscal team to ensure proper setup, maintenance, and alignment of the grant throughout its lifecycle. This position will communicate and facilitate post-award budget modifications, interagency funding transfers, and assist with mid and end of year reporting in accordance with federal requirements and changes. The position may assist other DSAMH units/bureaus with spending plans, project/initiative forecasts, and projecting expenditures. This position will also evaluate project-level contracts and budgets to ensure compliance with state, federal and grant requirements, and will complete other or team-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Intermediate Excel skills is required. Prior knowledge of First State Financial (FSF) is required. Experience with daily fiscal tracking/reporting.
