UNCP - Project Manager- Mid Level
UNC Pembroke is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to set up and configure project data and dashboards in our ServiceNow PM module. THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION FOR 20 HOURS A WEEK.

***This position will be remote for the duration of the engagement. Depending on the candidate's location the manager may require that the candidate comes in person to collect equipment on the first day.
***This is a part time position working 20 hours a week.

The primary focus of this position is to set up projects in our ServiceNow project management module. In addition,the IT Project Manager applies skills as a seasoned, experienced technical project management professional with a full understanding of project management frameworks and methods, relevant policies, and procedures to resolve a wide range of issues. Demonstrates competency in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions. Manages projects of diverse scope, size, impact, budget and / or project team size. Responsible for the IT project plan, project schedule, budget, scope, status, requirements analysis, and issue management of the development and implementation of assigned projects. The incumbent serves as a single point of contact for large-scale, highly technical projects, coordinates meetings, drives tasks, and tracks and reports on project status, risks, and issues. The incumbent is accountable for capturing, compiling, tracking, managing, documenting, communicating and escalating status, issues, and risks.

1. Responsible for creating and tracking the IT Project Portfolio of IT project in ServiceNow.
2. Responsibility for the successful completion of end to end project work, including all work products
3. Oversight of projects comprised of multiple deliverables, including delegation and coordination of tasks

Expected Skills: Able to manage medium complexity work efforts; may have industry experience.

5. Managing scope, resources, timelines, costs/budget, quality, communication, and procurements to meet the goals of the State
6. Development and execution of training and education on standard project management requirements and methods, facilitating project governance and reporting, and creating models to improve business decisions
7. Efforts typically include extensive changes to existing functionality or the implementation of new applications and/or technology
