Software Developer - Senior
Summary
Join our team as a Senior Integration Developer to support and enhance the JDX application within Ontario’s public sector. You’ll provide Tier 3 production support, develop technical specifications, and build integration solutions using IBM ACE, XML, JSON, and web services. Collaborate with project teams to ensure all documentation aligns with OPS standards and participate in system testing and knowledge transfer. Expertise in IBM ACE, .NET, and web technologies is essential. Ideal for developers with strong communication skills and public sector experience. This is a hybrid role (3 days onsite / 2 remote) requiring OPP L4 clearance prior to onboarding.
 
Description
The VOR Master Service Agreement which expires on April 5, 2026, leaves some Contracts with funding unassigned for fiscal 2025-26. If the current statement of work expires March 31, 2026, the remaining funds can be used to exercise an option to extend the SOW beyond March 31, 2026 based on business case approvals. Such extensions will be allowable, only if the Master Service Agreement is extended beyond April 5, 2026 and be upon the same terms, conditions, covenants contained in the SOW.  
OPP L4 clearance required before starting. NOTE: OPP-L4 Security Clearances could take approximately 12 weeks to process.
NOTE: This position is currently listed as "Onsite"; however, the Assignment under this request will provisionally be “Hybrid”, working 7.25 hours per calendar day, sometime between 8:00-5:00 PM (excluding lunch breaks) Monday to Friday inclusive, unless otherwise identified. These conditions are subject to change as the OPS reflects on its current situation. During the duration of the assignment you will be under the discretion of the Hiring Manager’s requirements for the Project you are assigned to.  
• Provide tier 3 support for the production of the JDX application.
• Creation of functional and technical specifications for systems development, analyze requirements and help project team in solution and technical design.
• Work with the project team in completing all relevant and required documentation in alignment with OPS standards.
• Develop interfaces between systems utilizing IBM ACE software, XML, JSON, web services
