Duties, Scope of Work, and/or Milestones:

Develop and maintain the Boards and Commissions web application phase 2 project, including, but not limited to, new reports and new website features.

Develop and maintain the Lobbyist Registration web application project, including, but not limited to, new reports and new website features.

The programmer will work with a team of subject matter experts that will develop a modern web application for application tracking using .NET Blazor, SSRS, Web API, Telerik, and ServiceNow for project tracking. The programmer will be working in conjunction with the department’s subject matter experts on a full-time basis.

Troubleshoot application problems within 20 hours, depending on the difficulty of the problem.

Plans and develop test data to validate new or modified applications (according to project plan).

Evaluates alternative solutions, recommends and implements appropriate applications design. (as assigned and within predefined deadlines)

Maintains and communicates accurate status of work performed (by providing a weekly status report).

Interviews functional and technical staff to gather documentation required for analysis of current system application requirements (according to project plan).

Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the team’s service by offering suggestions or direction as a member of the team.

The successful candidate must be able to work independently on application problems.

Must have experience working with Clark County’s Lobbyist Registration web application, Boards and Commissions web application, and ServiceNow platform.

Must be able to work onsite with the possibility of remote work.
