    Position Summary:
    Picks, delivers and distributes supplies to patient units as requested by supply pick list and handheld device. Performs general storeroom stocking functions. Demonstrates daily the LifeBridge Core Purpose and Values of Innovation, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork focusing on caring for our communities together.
    Essential Functions:
    Completes Supply Orders
    Picks supplies from shelves in warehouse using electronic generated picklist , hard copy Supply Action Request or handheld device.
    Tasks:
    Utilizes system generated Picklist or Handheld device the Material Handler picks supplies requested in the quantity requested.
    Makes "Edits" to picklist or handled device when necessary. Provides supplies and list to auditor.
    Initiates "Approval" process to the Picklist to charge products to the requesting patient unit, in turn reducing available inventory on hand.
    Maintains a picking speed minimum of 50 lines per hours.
    Deliveries and distributes supplies to patient unit supply utility room within 4 hrs of Picklist printing.
    Maintain Warehouse
    Assists in keeping warehouse organized, clean and free of clutter. Assist with stock put away daily.
    Tasks:
    Breaks down boxes as they are emptied, placing in appropriate trash cart. Organizes assigned shelves / aisles as outlined on the task card posted.
    Removes empty pallets as assigned to the loading dock by the prescribed time. Reports broken equipment to supervisor.
    Puts away incoming stock according to prescribed procedures and refills shelves as needed with available bulk stock.
    Inventory Maintenance
    Ensures that inventory levels accurate.
    Tasks:
    Reports discrepancies found immediately to supervisor when picking supplies. Picks products in accurate Unit of Measure.
    Participates in Physical Inventory twice yearly.
    Maintains products in neat orderly fashion on assigned aisle, rotating product as necessary.
    Working with a specific Material Specialist checks supply par carts for expired supplies and disposes.
    Customer Service
    Maintains a positive relationship between the Materials Management department and the patient units serviced.

    Smile and inquire about service if expectations are being met. Ask staff if there is anything else that

    Unpack products delivered quickly, placing in correct space on cart, organizing as you go. Remove brown corregated cardboard from patient unit.
    Answer telephone within 3 rings when covering desk and pages within 3 minute sof receiving. If gate bell rings"STOP" and wait on customer.


    Level of Supervision
    Required: Work is reviewed daily
    Contacts: Regular contacts outside the department, but generally within the company, to give or get information. Requires only courtesy to avoid friction.

    Education/Knowledge:

    Education Discipline:

    Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills. Degree or HS Diploma not required.
