Job Summary:
The Client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Software Programmer – Project Lead to lead the design, development, and support of enterprise-scale web applications. The primary focus will be on the SC New Hire application within the integrated Child Support Enforcement systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop web-based software solutions using .NET and modern front-end frameworks.
- Build robust, scalable systems with strong attention to architecture, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, testers, and other developers.
- Review and refactor existing codebases for performance and maintainability.
- Manage and execute deployments, source code, and build processes using Azure DevOps.
- Lead debugging, system integration, and documentation efforts across project lifecycles.
- Support infrastructure and performance monitoring as needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in software development using Microsoft .NET architecture
- 5+ years in web application development with N-tier, secure systems
- Strong expertise in:
- C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC 4
- MS SQL Server 2016/2019, including SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Entity Framework 6+, WCF, REST APIs
- Angular (v15+ preferred), RxJS, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery
- Hands-on with Microsoft Visual Studio 2019/2022, Azure DevOps, TFS
- Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019, Active Directory, and IIS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting
- Exposure to responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with security, regression, and performance testing tools
