JOB SUMMARY:
The HR Business Analyst provides analytical support and insights to optimize HR processes and drive strategic decision making. As a subject matter expert in analytics, this role is responsible for developing analytics strategy, defining and analyzing HR metrics, identifying trends, and recommending solutions to enhance employee engagement, talent acquisition, performance management, and workforce planning. Working without supervision, the HR Business Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and implement HR initiatives that align with organizational goals.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5-7+ years of relevant experience
- MUST have a strong background in Workday, including not just end-user experience but also hands-on administrative experience within the platform. (please note experience on resume)
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Manages and implements strategies and best practices for the organization's talent management, succession planning, recruitment, sourcing, and onboarding technology processes and tools, including the ERP, ATS, CRM and career portals.
Has a deep understanding of system functionalities and capabilities to effectively navigate and provide comprehensive support for complex ERP platforms such as Workday, Oracle and SAP.
Has proven expertise generating strategic, insightful and actionable reports, dashboards, and tools that provide information to support data-driven HR decision-making and process improvement efforts across the division. Leverages advanced report-writing skills to extract, analyze, and present data in a clear and actionable format, contributing to informed decision-making processes and enhancing overall organizational effectiveness.
Provides consultative services for People + Culture programs and projects to ensure effective, efficient, and timely data management and reporting.
Works closely with stakeholders in a consultative role to assess data and analytics needs; generates ad hoc as well as self-directed reports and analyzes trends and opportunities to improve decision-making related to workforce management.
Maintains the integrity of data management by identifying and addressing erroneous or incomplete data and recommending corrective actions as needed.
Ensures data tables used in reporting are updated and maintained appropriately.
Maintains and updates HR dashboards and ongoing standard reports as required, and in partnership with the IT and Analytics teams.
Fosters ongoing communication with People + Culture leaders, team members, ITS and the Enterprise Analytics team to identify opportunities to improve data management and analytics, and to leverage current systems, data structures and other technologies.
