Oversee and participation in all mail processing functions for FWC offices in the Tallahassee region, opening & distribution of incoming mail, collection, weighing, calculation of postage, metering & affixing postage to all outgoing mail.

Position: Pay Rate: -hr / Vendor Rate: -hr

JOB DESCRIPTION:
*** direct supervision of the mailroom staff
*** planning workloads and coordinating work priorities
*** arranging special Commission deliveries, mailings, and project requests
*** coordinating special mailing requirements with the Post Office
*** monitoring the maintenance and upkeep of assigned vehicles and trip-logs to ensure the accurate completion of various reports
*** assisting in obtaining vehicle repair estimates and procuring services from vendors in accordance with state purchasing rules
*** training employees on assigned tasks
***  responsible to fill the gap when a Direct Report under supervision is out sick, on annual leave, or has a scheduled doctor’s appointment
*** 
ensuring operational supplies are available and stocked.
