Job Title: Network Engineer / WAN Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer/WAN Engineer to design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure in a LAN/WAN environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal network performance, troubleshooting issues, implementing security measures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Design and Implementation:

• Design and deploy network architecture and systems

• Establish and maintain network standards and configurations

• Implement new solutions to enhance infrastructure flexibility

Network Optimization and Maintenance:

• Monitor and optimize network performance

• Troubleshoot and resolve network outages and issues

• Perform regular upgrades and maintenance

Security and Compliance:

• Configure and maintain firewall settings in accordance with security policies

• Implement and enforce network access controls

• Conduct regular security audits and updates

Technical Operations:

• Configure routing and switching equipment

• Manage hosted IP voice services

• Provide remote support for installations and issue resolution

Collaboration and Reporting:

• Work with network architects on system optimization

• Coordinate with project teams and field engineers

• Report on network status and performance metrics

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering

• Expertise in LAN/WAN environments

• Proficiency with routing, switching, and firewall configuration

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of network security best practices

• Ability to work onsite 5 days per week

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent)

• Experience with SD-WAN technologies

• Familiarity with cloud networking solutions
