About the Project:
Integrate PS T&L system to a 3rd party Time collection and scheduling application for few of the agencies/Departments within Harris County. The integration must ensure all the time entries adheres to Harris County HR and Time policies.
PeopleSoft Time and Labor Functional SME-
This role would seek a professional who is skilled in Functional Support and configuration of HCM module (Preferably PeopleSoft or similar ERP). The SME should be able to design Data translations, Field Mapping, Functional solutions for integrations between the ERP system and 3rd party applications for Time collection.
Requirements: PeopleSoft functional knowledge of Time and Labor and Payroll for NA; ability to write functional specifications; ability to communicate effectively with business and development staff. Knowledge with implementing Time and Labor template built and custom rules
•Preferable: Experience with integration of 3rd party Time collection devices to PeopleSoft Time& Labor module(File based, API, etc.)
•Overall knowledge and understanding of HR and Payroll for NA module is a great plus.
Role and responsibilities of the Resource request
Requirements Gathering: Must be able to understand and translate to Functional requirements and Design
Must be Process oriented and follow Project Management guidelines.
Well experienced with designing High-Level conceptual design process flows and application Process flow diagrams
Assess feasibility and determine the value of the request to business goals.
Play a crucial role in System design and configuration for the Integration needs of the project.
Liaison between business and developer resources
Testing Needs: Support User acceptance testing (UAT), validating that the system functions as expected and meets business requirements.
Create System test plan and Test scenarios
Conduct testing/facilitate UAT
Data Management:
Contribute to data migration and cleansing efforts, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data within the ERP system.
Change Management
Help manage organizational change related to the implementation and adoption of the ERP system
