Job Description:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented SharePoint QA Engineer to test, validate, and ensure the quality of SharePoint Online and on-premises solutions. You will work closely with project teams to verify functionality, migration accuracy, and performance before release.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for SharePoint sites, workflows, and integrations.
- Validate data accuracy, metadata, and permissions post-migration.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and cross-browser testing.
- Log and track defects in Jira/Azure DevOps, and verify fixes.
- Prepare QA reports and maintain test documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years QA experience, with at least 2 years in SharePoint testing.
- Knowledge of SharePoint architecture, lists, libraries, workflows, and permissions.
- Experience with migration tools (e.g., ShareGate, Metalogix) is a plus.
- Familiarity with QA tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, and TestRail.
