GA DOL - Database Migration Analyst 2
Under general supervision, designs, implements, and maintains moderately  complex data migration task, ensuring data integrity is accurate. The candidate will develop and execute data migration strategies, including data cleansing.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Data Migration Analyst to perform the analysis to migrate DB2-LUW data to a PostgreSQL environment. The candidate will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and validating data migration, ensuring data integrity is accurate. The candidate will develop and execute data migration strategies, including data cleansing and validation processes to ensure data quality; the candidate will create complex SQL scripts and stored procedures for ETL process. The candidate will work with Application Development SME’s to ensure data is mapped properly and ensure the ETL process is optimized. The candidate will maintain documentation and status on a SharePoint site.

Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Four years of related experience OR MASTERS degree
•OR Two years of experience at the lower-level Database Migration Analyst position equivalent.

Required Skills

1. Five years’ experience with data migration processes.
2. Five years’ experience with SQL and creating Stored Procedures
3. Three years’ experience with a relational database, such as DB2, SQL Server.
4. One years’ experience with PostgreSQL
5. One years’ experience with DBeaver Tool or IBM Data Studio
6. One year’s experience with Erwin Data Modeling Tool
7. One years’ experience with Microsoft Windows Server.

Desired Skills

1. Experience with Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) tools SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and DB2-LUW export utilities.
2. Strong knowledge of Unemployment Insurance (UI) Benefits and Tax.
3. Strong knowledge of data mapping process and best practices
