Join our team as a Senior Business Analyst to drive high-impact digital health initiatives. In this hybrid role (2–3 days onsite at 5700 Yonge St.), you'll lead business analysis efforts on large-scale I&IT projects, translating stakeholder needs into actionable requirements and user stories. Your expertise in HL7-FHIR standards, Agile methodologies, and tools like Azure DevOps will be essential to success. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to model data and workflows, support API testing, and ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture. Ideal candidates bring strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, plus recent hands-on experience with FHIR APIs and resource modeling.
Hybrid Work Arrangement: FFS will need to work at 5700 Yonge for 2-3 days per week at discretion of HM.

· Meet with the Product Owner and end-users to understand the team’s work
· Act as a proxy Product Owner for the team, where the BA answers questions or facilitates decisions on behalf of an absent Product Owner
· Develop strategies, prepare business cases and cost-benefit analysis, and conducts feasibility studies for business I&IT initiatives
· Develop sound processes for requirements gathering including but not limited to JAD sessions, interviews, mockups, etc.
· Conduct business modeling; use case modeling; conceptual and logical data modeling; process and data flow modeling; use case surveys; business rules definition and non-functional requirements definitions
· Experience with developing process maps and modeling current and future state workflows
· Monitor progress, resolve problems and reports regularly to I&IT management and stakeholders
· Develop performance measures and traceability matrices for business analysis
· Apply re-engineering concepts to promote business improvements through alternative and cost effective service delivery approaches
· Experience in the use of Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools to document conceptual requirements and scope

Technical Knowledge and Expertise - 60%
You have:
· 3+ years hands-on experience working with FHIR standards, including resource modeling and FHIR APIs
· Deep understanding of HL4-FHIR resources, profiles, extensions, and implementation guides
· Experience with data validation testing and API testing using Postman
· Ability to support cloud solutions and system integrations within Microsoft stack
· working knowledge of business system technologies to provide technical expertise and advice
· experience with design, develop, test and implement systems solutions, and evaluate software/ hardware
· knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle Methodologies and Agile project methodology
· knowledge in Microsoft Power Platform App (
· experience with creating and managing user stories using Azure DevOps
