Job Title:  IT Release Manager III
Location: Noida/Mohali (Hybrid)

Job Description: The IT Release Manager III will direct the end-to-end release process of core system applications, databases, and/or infrastructure projects. This includes managing multiple simultaneous release efforts and coordinating readiness deliverables across the product, development, test, deployment and support teams. The incumbent is responsible for mitigating risk at each milestone; resolving issues, adjusting scope, adjusting schedules, and making go/no go decisions.  The incumbent will lead planning, readiness, and deployment efforts to internal and customer-facing environments.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

•       Coordinate and manage release calendars for multiple scrum, Kanban, and project teams.
•       Drive milestone deliverables, determine readiness and mitigate risk at each milestone.
•       Coordinate and lead planning meetings to establish deployment plans, mitigation plans, validation/monitoring plans, and resource accountability plans.
•       Communicate milestone schedules, readiness status, and release status reports at relevant intervals.
•       Coordinate and lead deployments to internal and customer-facing environments.
•       Create and Maintain documentation of each release event.
•       Improve release processes and tools.
•       Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION
Minimum Required:
•       A combination of relevant education, work experience, and related professional designations/certifications in this field is highly desirable.

•       Minimum Required: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent degree and/or experience. CSM, SAFe, ITIL, or PMP certificates are desirable.

EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required:
•       5-8 years of experience as an IT Release Manger, IT Project Manager, or IT Analyst with experience in Scrum, Quality Assurance, Release Mgmt, Change Mgmt, or Release Engineering.

SKILLS
Minimum Required:
•       Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to articulate complex or difficult messages across the organization. Able to adjust verbiage and syntax appropriately for different audiences.
•       Experience in leading and managing activities on multiple, simultaneous, cross-functional and cross-organizational projects. Able to absorb and apply new technical and business information.
•       Strong partnering, relationship building, negotiation and influencing capabilities. Able to build a productive, collaborative, and reciprocal working relationship with business and technical partners.
•       Resourceful, detail oriented, methodical, with time management skills. Able to track and document plans, release road maps, discussions, decisions, change of plans, and readiness on a daily basis.
•       Accepts ownership and takes initiative. Takes accountability for desired outcomes. Pursues alternate paths as appropriate to break through obstacles.
•       Role specific experience and technologies, preferred.
