Join our team as a Senior ETL Developer to support mission-critical data exchanges within the Ontario Business Registry environment. You’ll design, code, and maintain robust data integration jobs using Informatica PowerCenter, supporting key partnerships with CRA, ISED, WSIB, and MOF. This role requires expertise in building complex ETL workflows, integrating web services, and developing XML-based data exchanges. Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL scripting and experience with tools like SOAPUI and WSDL is essential. Ideal for developers with strong Informatica and XML experience, and a passion for delivering secure, high-performance data solutions in a hybrid work environment (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

 

The resource is required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes developing detailed programming specifications, writing and/or generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.

Responsibilities will include:

• Design, code, test, implement, and support data exchange jobs in the Informatica ETL tool that is currently deployed within the Ontario Business Registry environment 
• These data exchanges support agreements between MPBSD and the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) and Ministry of Finance (MOF).

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Technical Tools - 45%

Experience using Informatica Powercentre to create complex workflows that integrate

notification emails & roll-backs

5+ years demonstrated experience with the Informatica Powercentre ETL toolset

5+ years demonstrated experience with ETL script development

Demonstrated experience using Informatica tools to read inbound data from a web

service

Demonstrated experience using Informatica tools to create outbound web service

messages from a traditional data source

 

Programming Experience - 30%

Experience with Web services and XML development and design

Experience with software development tools such as SOAPUI, SQL query, Web Services

Oracle Database Experience - 20%

Experience with Oracle 12X
