IA-DOM-HHS-SDP4 Automated Regression Tester

The ELIAS AutomatedRegression Testing Team is tasked with developing new tests to fill remainingcoverage gaps, enhance the efficiency of the current regression test suite, andexecute & diagnose any failures.

The ELIAS Automated Regression Testing Team is tasked with developing new tests to fill remaining coverage gaps, enhance the efficiency of the current regression test suite, and execute & diagnose any failures. 

AutomatedRegression Tester Role

  • ·        Transform business test cases into automatedtest coverage
  • ·        Develop repeatable fully automated tests,using the Tricentis TOSCA tool, that will operate without manual intervention
  • ·        Provide creative solutions to challengesencountered developing repeatable automation
  • ·        Rapidly update tests based on changes in theapplication
  • ·        Contribute to the build out of lights outautomation
  • ·        Create test coverage using risk-based testingtechniques
  • ·        Execute unattended testing and maintain the testenvironment

 

AutomatedRegression Testing Team Goals

  • ·        Fill the coverage gap from the previous WORKSOFTtest suite to the current TOSCA test suite
  • ·        Maintain the current TOSCA test suite
  • ·        Add new test coverage to support updates to the ELIASapplication
  • ·        Develop additional validations for new andexisting tests
  • ·        Enhance test suite to provide additionalcapabilities such as being able to support testing against multiple versions ofthe application



Requirements: 

  • ·      Experience developing automated test cases usingTOSCA
  • ·      Thorough knowledge of automated functionalregression testing, Data driven test development techniques, Object recognitionTest validation, Lights out unattended automation and Following framework andguidelines established by the QA Leads
  • ·      Ability to transform business test cases intoautomated test coverage
  • ·      Ability to develop creative solutions, tochallenges that arise, developing a repeatable automated test suite
  • ·      Ability to develop basic SQL queries to be usedfor database validation
  • ·      Demonstrated ability to effectively use thirdparty tools and system utilities
  • ·      Demonstrated ability of high levels ofinterpersonal and communication skills
  • ·      Ability to work well in a project team
  • ·      Knowledge of Dev/Ops Concepts and continuoustesting
  • ·      Experience with Medicaid Eligibility, 508testing, and CMS regulations
  • ·      Experience working in an Agile projectmethodologies
  • ·      Knowledge and experience deploying risk-basedtesting techniques
  • ·      Experience developing and executing API testcases
  • ·      Experience with batch testing
