Job Title: Project Control Officer - Intermediate
Location: Toronto - Hybrid
Duration: Short Term


Responsibilities: Provide assistance to project managers and project team, in coordinating, planning, communicating, and executing the delivery of core project components. General Skills: Experience collaborating with various groups to gather updates and maintaining project budgeting, progress reporting, action items, risk management updates, etc. Experience working alongside project managers to provide updates, escalate where required, identify risks, and lead project document deliverables Demonstrated experience working in a professional environment supporting multiple project managers and critical projects. Experience developing project status reports and maintaining and monitoring status reporting logs Experience scheduling meetings Experience monitoring project document repository and ensuring all documents are reviewed and maintained in the repository Desirable Skills: Demonstrated excellent project management software skills and experience e.g. MS Project, Planview, etc. Understanding of basic Project Management concepts (e.g. project goals, risk, scope, participant roles, planning, cost and quality management)

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

Education: University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related discipline.

Experience: 3+ years' experience working in project management applying project management methodologies. Prefer Project Management certification (PMP/Prince 2)

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Past Experience in Project Coordination

1. College diploma or relevant training in finance, accounting, bookkeeping or office administration

Experience - roles (35%)

3+ years' experience working in project management applying project management methodologies. Preferred experience in a similar environment, working in a regulated industry or public utility setting. Prefer Project Management certification (PMP/Prince 2)
