Join our team as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to support healthcare IT transformation through rigorous testing and quality assurance. This remote role (within Canada) focuses on ensuring the seamless implementation of healthcare information systems. You will leverage your expertise in software testing, HL7 integration, and clinical application validation, particularly within acute and emergency care environments. Ideal candidates have at least 10 years of QA experience, including testing Allscripts applications and providing end-user support. A recognized software testing certification is required. This role is crucial in advancing healthcare technology, ensuring system reliability, and improving patient care through IT excellence.

 

 

Work Location: Services will be performed via remote access. Services shall not be
performed remotely from outside of Canada.
Project Description: Digital Health, a Shared Health service, will facilitate the improvement
and enablement of healthcare delivery transformation through the use of information and
communication technology. The focus is to provide efficient, effective information management
and communication technology processes across the provincial health sector.

1. Certification in software testing or quality assurance as recognized by the International
Software Testing Qualifications Board, International Institute of Software Testing, or a similar
governing body. Proof of the certification is requested with the response.
Skill and Experience
1. 10 years’ experience as a quality assurance analyst in a project environment including
executing testing and the creation of test cases and test objectives. The response should
include at least 3 examples including duration of the project or work that total at least 8
years.
2. 10 years’ experience testing healthcare information systems to be implemented in a clinical
environment. The response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the
project or work that total at least 5 years.
3. 10 years’ experience testing the Allscripts suite of clinical applications including the
registration and clinical documentation functionality. The response should include at least 2
examples including duration of the project or work that total at least 3 years.
4. 5 years’ experience testing integration between information systems that use the Health
Level 7 (HL7) standard. Experience should include validating messages are properly
mapped and processed by receiving systems. The response should include at least 2
examples including duration of the project or work that total at least 3 years.
5. 5 years’ experience providing end user support during acute care healthcare transformation
projects. Experience should include one-on-one coaching and trouble-shooting. The

response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the project or work that
total at least 3 years.
6. 5 years’ experience implementing or testing healthcare information systems designed to
work in an urgent care or emergency care environment. The response should include at
least 2 examples including duration of the project or work that total at least 3 years.
7. 1 year of experience testing and implementing systems and processes designed to support
the establishment of a new healthcare facility. The response should include at least 1
example including duration of the project or work that total at least 1 year.
