Job Tenure - 12 Months Contract
Job Location - Frisco, TX (4 days onsite)


Position Accountabilities
• As a part of the ingredient research team, gathers information on new and novel ingredients, studies ingredient interactions and functionalities
• Conducts bench-top experiments, formula calculations, and develops prototypes for product tastings and sensory testing across a variety of KDP brands and products
• Interprets test results, writes technical reports, and effectively communicates information within the organization
• Fully understands R&D functions and project management process to lead projects
• Partners with various functions of R&D (Sensory, Nutrition, Regulatory, Flavor Technology, Chemistry, Process Engineering, and Technical Services)
• Manages multiples projects and delivers updates on projects within the business to key stakeholders and cross-functional peers
• Maintains accurate and detailed record of laboratory work
• Work appropriately and safely in a laboratory environment
• Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in adapting to changing business needs and priorities
• Use formulation software to document lab work and formulas.

Requirements:
• B.S. in Food Science or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a related function within food/beverage (R&D, Quality), CPG, and/or commensurate advanced education
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
