SharePoint QA with Migration Experience
 

The SharePoint QA Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of the SharePoint migration to Azure Government Community Cloud (GCC). This role involves developing and executing test plans, identifying and tracking defects, and validating the functionality of migrated SharePoint sites. The ideal candidate will have experience with SharePoint migrations and a strong understanding of QA methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans for QA and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of migrated SharePoint sites.

  • Identify, document, and track defects using a defect tracking system.

  • Work closely with developers to resolve defects and validate fixes.

  • Ensure that migrated sites meet functional, performance, and usability requirements.

  • Coordinate with site owners and stakeholders to facilitate UAT.

  • Provide evidence of successful migration and remediation through QA and UAT signoffs.

  • Participate in the design and implementation of the migration process to ensure testability.

  • Verify that site permissions and access are in line with industry standards.


    Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in QA testing, specifically for SharePoint migrations.

  • Experience with SharePoint Online and Azure GCC environments.

  • Strong understanding of SharePoint functionality and architecture.

  • Experience with developing and executing test plans and test cases.

  • Proficiency in defect tracking and management.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


    Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ShareGate migration tool.

  • Knowledge of automated testing tools.

  • Familiarity with State of Minnesota accessibility standards.

  • Experience with large-scale migration projects.

  • Experience in creating and maintaining QA documentation.
