NCDHHS seeks a Expert Business Analyst tosupport the business case development, process improvement and requirementsanalysis, testing and implementation project for new software solution for NCChild Support Services. Child Support experience reuqired.
Primary tasks include:
• Identify and document stakeholders, dataflows, and current and future state process flows.
• Gather, document, validate, and maintainbusiness, functional, and technical/non-functional solution requirements neededas input to market analysis, software procurement, and solution developmentprocesses.
• Translate client's system requirements intoagile themes, product backlogs, epics, user stories or detailed businessrequirement documents and use cases depending on development approach.
• Work with Product Owner and business subjectmatter experts to groom user stories and define acceptance criteria to ensurethat stories meet the team-defined definition of ready.
• Work with vendor or internal developers andtesters to confirm the functionality meets the story's acceptance criteria.
• Participate in gap analysis and detailedrequirement development efforts.
• Assist the Business/Product Owner in planning,preparing for and conducting user acceptance testing, including developing testscenarios and test cases.
• Perform requirements traceability throughoutthe project lifecycle to support user acceptance testing and productionrollout.
• Assist in the development procurementdocuments such as Requests for Proposals, Requests for Quotes, and Requests forInformation.
• Support vendor proposal evaluation efforts andassist in documenting evaluation results.
• Support process improvement initiatives
• Assist market research for proposed automationprojects.
• Facilitate options analysis and supportbusiness case development for proposed automation projects.
• Document meeting agendas and notes.
• Facilitate meetings, especially those relatedto requirements gathering and UAT.
• Support project manager in maintaining projectartifacts and developing status reports.
• Support the development of surveys, assessmenttools, project methodologies, policies and procedures
• Maintain SharePoint site for each assignedproject
• Perform other analysis and project support tasksas assigned.
