Job Title: EDI Implementation Analyst

Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite)

Job Tenure: Full-time

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced EDI Implementation Analyst to join our team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing EDI transformation and modernization projects, particularly within the healthcare domain. This role requires expertise in Agile methodologies, basic SQL knowledge, and experience with JIRA.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage EDI transformation and modernization projects, focusing on facilitating the implementation of HIX, EHR, and HIPAA Regulations.
  • Upgrade core systems using TPV to leverage ROI and implement TP Cloud-based EDI systems.
  • Design EDI solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop reporting systems to support the team in charge, including charge, reimbursement, productivity, ops improvement, and maintenance cost reporting.
  • Implement Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) standards such as ANSI X12, HL7, and EDIFACT, leading the team in mapping EDI transactions for healthcare claims, remittance advice, eligibility verification, and prior authorization.
  • Adhere to strong project management standards and practices, creating project plans, defining tasks, assigning resources, and monitoring progress using Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum methodologies.
  • Implement project artifacts and archives such as Project Charter, Project Vision, Project Risk Register, Stakeholder Analysis, and Gantt Chart.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, vendors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure project success.
  • Work closely with QA teams to develop test plans, test cases, and perform end-to-end testing to ensure the accuracy and compliance of EDI transactions.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory changes impacting EDI in healthcare, identifying opportunities for process enhancement and system optimization.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare domain.
  • Basic SQL knowledge and experience with JIRA.
  • Experience with EDI standards such as ANSI X12, HL7, and EDIFACT.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
