The State of South Carolina is looking for Web Designer- Consultant
Why is this position open: This is a new need to replace a contractor that recently departed from the team.
Max Bill Rate: -/hour
Will close to submissions on July 9, 2025 at 5:00PM EST.
Interview Process: In person interviews to be on site
Duration of the Contract: 12 months
Possibility for Extension: Yes
Work Location: Columbia SC, Hybrid 2 days remote after vetting and training.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and recommend technical solutions for customer issues related to software setup and configuration pertaining to SCDOR cloud applications and other custom SharePoint on-premises and cloud solutions
- Have expertise and experience with working with Power Apps platform to deliver business change
- Design, develop, and implement GenAI-driven solutions using Copilot and Copilot Studio
- Experience of working in both Agile and Waterfall development models and able to recommend difference approaches based on the specific project outcomes
- Provide technical support for SharePoint and PowerApps users, including troubleshooting issues and providing solutions
Required Skills
• Microsoft 365 Power Platform (PowerApps and Power Automate(Flow))
• Skilled in SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online
• Skilled in one or more relevant development languages
• .Net Framework (ASP.net, ADO.net)
• Microsoft CoPilot
Education Requirements
• A bachelor’s degree in information technology systems, computer science; or related field and eight (8) years of experience in information technology systems or related area
• Or an associate's degree and ten (10) years of experience in information technology systems or related area
• Or a high school diploma and twelve (12) years of experience in information technology systems or related area.
Preferred skills
• Experience in projects involving PCI/ NIST/Pub1075 security implementations and / or audits.
