Summary:

 Join our team as a Unix/Linux Systems Administrator to support and maintain mission-critical Linux/Unix environments. You’ll be responsible for installing, configuring, and monitoring servers, applying security patches, and ensuring system stability across Oracle Linux, Red Hat, and Ubuntu platforms. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll support application integration and automate operations using Bash, Python, or tools like Ansible and Puppet. With certifications like RHCSA, CompTIA Linux+, and Ansible Automation, you’ll bring strong diagnostic skills and hands-on expertise to enhance infrastructure performance and security. This role is ideal for detail-oriented administrators who thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

 

 Education:

• Associate’s Degree in Information Technology or related field

 

• Key Responsibilities:

 

• • Install, configure, and maintain Linux/Unix servers and related applications.

 

○ Monitor and troubleshoot server performance and resolve issues in a timely manner.

 

○ Implement, maintain, and monitor security patches and updates for Unix/Linux servers.

 

○ Work with other teams to ensure system integration and support for applications running on Linux environments.

 

○ Assist in automation of operational tasks using shell scripts or tools like Ansible or Puppet.

 

• Key Skills & Qualifications:

 

• • Experience in administering Linux/Unix-based operating systems (Oracle Linux, Red Hat, Ubuntu, etc.).

 

○ Knowledge of network configurations, file systems, and storage solutions on Unix/Linux platforms.

 

○ Scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.

 

○ Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

○ Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
