Job Title: Pharmacy Consultant

Location: Remote

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with IH Pharmacy staff, Cerner Ops, PM team managing Location rebuild schedule and build with aligning to IH best practices.
  • Execute build, systems testing, troubleshooting, and resolution to technical issues related to Oracle PharmaNet.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all aspects of pharmacy operating systems and medical dispensing machines where necessary.
  • Guide, build, test the system and analyze technical issues associated with the applicable software.
  • Work as part of a team, assisting team members with tasks to keep deliverables on schedule, attend regularly scheduled team scrum meetings.
  • Works with vendor representative where necessary.
  • Validate the Oracle Health Canadian Reference model.
  • Ensuring build of system meets regional clinical and non-clinical standards.
  • Raise issues and risks to Project leadership.
  • Pharmacy DCW recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field. A PharmD or equivalent clinical pharmacy experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and workflows within a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in working with Oracle Health Millennium PharmaNet or similar pharmacy management systems.
  • Experience in system implementation, configuration, and support, preferably in a healthcare IT environment.
  • A results-oriented focus is essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment and effectively manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
  • People and team oriented with a strong ability to establish an excellent level of confidence, credibility and cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and security standards related to pharmacy systems highly desirable.
