GA TECH Data Governance Analyst
Under broad supervision, analyzes the enterprise bus./tech. environment and participates in the operationalization of the enterprise data governance program (focus on policies, standards, procedures, processes, documentation, and more).

Job Summary:
GA Tech seeks a Data Governance business analyst that understands a data governance framework with the kind reach and can help design and create policies, standards, and procedures through a wide lens for a large data governance program. GA Tech is looking for candidates that have more experience outside of data catalog and data quality space where their experience overlaps with Privacy and Cyber Security. 

Position duties:
Evaluate/update existing and create new enterprise data governance and management policies, guiding principles, standards, procedures, and processes; create Program documentation; other duties.


Required skills:
  • MIUST HAVE: The creation of enterprise data governance policies, standards, procedures; 
  • Attention to detail; problem-solving; work independently, team; flexible to change, comfortable with ambiguity; adapt communication to varying audiences; build relationships; create presentations. 

Preferred skills:

Data Governance policy creation in an enterprise Higher Education environment.
