We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Solutions Architect to support the State of Missouri in cloud migration and infrastructure design. The candidate will provide architectural planning, hands-on environment setup, and ongoing support aligned with security, performance, and cost optimization goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure, cost-effective Azure cloud infrastructure.

• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using best practices.

• Provide hands-on support for cloud adoption and migration.

• Create and maintain documentation including design diagrams and configuration standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, networking, and applications.

• Mentor state cloud team and support governance standards (e.g., NIST 800-53).

• Provide weekly status reports and monthly deliverables.

Required Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in Azure Cloud Architecture (state government or equivalent preferred).

• 5+ years with cloud platforms (Aurora, Elastic Beanstalk, PaaS, IaaS, Kubernetes, Ansible).

• Strong DevOps and operational support capabilities.

• Excellent communication skills with ability to mentor and debate technical decisions.

• Experience with State of Missouri IT systems is a plus.
