Project Manager


Responsibilities:

  • Provides project management on large scale, high profile and high risk projects for OPS I&IT initiatives.

  • Ensures project deliverables meet clients’ business requirements on time, scope and budget, with a focus on cost-effectiveness, efficiencies and compliance with OPS project management methodologies and frameworks.

Must Haves:

  • Artificial Intelligence Strong Knowledge and /or experience of using AI tools for Business Analysis / Project Management

  • Business Systems Analysis: Strong experience in business/systems analysis within software/product development

 General Skills:

  • Project Management: Gathers requirements, creates detailed project schedules, monitors and forecasts project costs, and manages project schedules, deliverables, and scope.

  • Coordination and Communication: Coordinates project processes, develops guidelines, clarifies roles, resolves conflicts, and ensures knowledge sharing.

  • Risk Management: Identifies and mitigates risks, prioritizes issues, and recommends strategies to senior executives.

  • Conflict Resolution: Ability to identify and address conflicts between project and functional areas.

  • Client Relationship Management: Skills in managing client expectations, providing updates, and resolving potential conflicts.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Participates in steering committees, provides reporting to senior executives, and promotes best practices for project management.

  • Technology Recommendations: Ability to recommend software, hardware, and technology resources.

 Desirable Skills:

  • Project Management Knowledge: Understanding of PMI’s Project Management Body of Knowledge.

  • Accessibility Standards: Familiarity with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and related regulations.
