Job Description:
This position will work in the Grant Education and Public Awareness Team to coordinate and implement State Opioid Response (SOR) funded training and conference initiatives. This includes Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) training series, Addition Treatment Resource Center (ATRC) activities, and other opioid response training efforts. This roles involves coordinating and managing training logistics, supporting virtual and in-person events, and ensuring effective communication with training participants, facilitators, and attendees.
Responsibilities include assisting with resource email accounts, managing and hosting training events, assisting with registration and troubleshooting for workshops and conferences, developing schedules and materials, maintaining up to date content across websites and shared platforms, and working cooperatively with the division’s Workforce development unit. The analyst will support tracking public awareness messaging campaigns, create outreach materials or flyers, facilitate webinar-style events (Including technical support for virtual sessions)and other SOR or team related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Prior experience supporting trainings/conferences is preferred. This position required strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities and a proactive approach to support ongoing behavioural health initiatives.
