Area of expertise -
● Expertise in user interface and user experience design principles, including creating
wireframes, prototypes, and interactive designs.
● Proficiency in designing and improving user interfaces specifically within the VB .NET
ecosystem Windows Forms, WPF.
● Knowledge of responsive design principles and how to adapt desktop applications to
different screen sizes and resolutions.
● Strong understanding of UCD principles, ensuring that the end-user experience is intuitive
and user-friendly.
● Understanding the principles of HCI, ensuring that interactions with the application are
efficient and effective.
● Expertise in any of the tools i.e. Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or InVision for creating design
prototypes and mockups.
● Knowledge of how to design interfaces that work across different devices and platforms, if
applicable.
● Experience in conducting user research, A/B testing, and usability testing to gather feedback
and iterate on designs.
● Familiarity with design systems and the ability to maintain consistency across user
interfaces.
● Strong understanding of visual design elements, including color theory, typography,
iconography, and layout principles.
● Ability to collaborate closely with developers to ensure that designs are implemented
accurately and efficiently.
● Knowledge of WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) and designing for accessibility
to ensure that the application is usable by all individuals, including those with disabilities.

Role & Responsibilities
● Support the migration of VB6 forms and UI controls into the .NET environment, ensuring the
user interface is intuitive and meets SNB's expectations.
● Analyze the VB6 forms and controls to understand their UI behavior.
● Recreate or improve the UI in VB .NET, following .NET best practices.
● Address any UI-related issues during migration, such as changes in event handling or
control behaviors.

● Test the new UI to ensure it is fully functional and aligns with the user experience of the
original application.
