Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Team Lead - Data-Ops Engineer with 7-9 years of experience to lead our data operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL processes, preferably within an Azure environment, and will be responsible for designing, automating, and supporting complex data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) applications.  Additionally, this role requires the ability to effectively manage sprints and deliverables and to serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for project communications, including the presentation of weekly and bi-weekly status updates through bar charts and presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
● Lead and manage the Data-Ops engineering team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project goals.
● Serve as the SPOC for the project, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and presenting weekly and bi-weekly status updates through bar charts, presentations, and reports.
● Design, automate, and support sophisticated ETL applications, with a focus on maintaining data quality and governance.
● Maintain and enhance existing SQL scripts and procedures, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven insights and solutions.
● Manage and optimize project sprints and deliverables, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
● Oversee Azure DevOps pipelines, ensuring continuous integration and delivery of data applications.
● Implement and manage SFTP and MFT processes to securely transfer data.
● Provide leadership in troubleshooting complex technical issues, identifying risks, and developing mitigation strategies.
● Drive the adoption of Agile methodologies within the team, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
● Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
● Act as a data steward, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across the organization.

Qualifications:
● 7-9 years of experience in Data Operations, with a strong focus on ETL and Azure environments.
● Extensive experience in SQL scripting and Azure SQL Server.
● Proficiency in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Azure DevOps.
● Experience with SFTP and MFT services.
● Strong understanding of data quality management and governance principles.
● Experience in an Agile work environment, with solid project management skills.
● Proven ability to manage sprints, and deliverables, and provide clear project status updates.
● Excellent logical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
● Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
● Ability to understand and manage the broader organizational data landscape.
● Experience in the Healthcare domain is a plus.
